How I wish we had known of Dr. Kilgore before the 2 surgeries I had on one knee! Things are slow because of what I've gone through but so pleased with results so far. He is exceptionally patient, honest and caring. I liked him being upfront and all his associates I rate as 10 or above.. His nurses are so caring and when I call they answer. God Bless them all.

Excellent experience with Dr. Kilgore and his team. Had a right hip replaced three weeks ago. It was virtually pain-free after the procedure. Able to transfer from walker to cane on day five. Walked into my two week office visit post surgery with no cane. They said I was doing excellent. I Just have to take it easy for another couple of weeks before get back into my routine. I would highly recommend this orthopedic surgeon and his team.

Dr. Kilgore was a very nice man and explained everything very clearly. The office staff was very efficient and even though it appeared when I walked into the waiting room that there were alot of people waiting, I was called back right at my scheduled appointment time. Had additional x-rays taken, met with Dr. Kilgore, had cortisone shots in both knees and was on my way an hour later.

Dr. Kilgore did a full right knee replacement many years ago and i have not experienced any problems at all. I was so pleased with the outcome I scheduled an appointment with him to see if he could help me with my back pain. He recommended Dr. PIGEON who did a magnificent operation. This group is a fully functional team and would recommend to anyone.

I recently had a total hip replacement done by Dr. Kilgore and am completely satisfied with the experience. I had one of my hips replaced previously by another local surgeon and comparing the two experiences I have to say OAWF is by far a much better practice. I would trust any of the doctors in this practice.
Just completed my second total knee replacement and both results are excellent. Expert skill, care and follow up. Excellent staff and PA. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I would recommend Dr. Kilgore as Tampa Bays best surgeon.
I am a home health care nurse that has seen numerous patients of his after replacements. This is the only one I would let touch my father's hip and I recommend to all my friends and family for replacements. He's the one that all the doctors recommend to their parents.

His PA, Chris, has been involved in my care and is wonderful. Juan and Jessica are very kind and helpful. Everyone in the office has demonstrated professionalism and a friendly demeanor. Although the time is lengthy waiting to see Dr. Kilgore, I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else.
The doc was nice enough, though that is not a determining factor. He did not hurry me & he explained very well. I did a lot of research on him before I chose him for my hip replacement. He did a fine job, his postop crew is top notch & he has given me great follow up care. I also need the other hip replaced & though I would prefer the anterior procedure to the posterior procedure (which is what he does), there is no doc on my HMO list who does the anterior procedure so he will be doing my other hip. Highly recommend.
Good class before surgery to know what to expects, use of machine to get range of motion &prevent adhesions really helped and reduced pain after surgery, great pt came to my home, great follow up and results.
I have seen many orthopedic doctors in the last couple.of months, Dr Kilgore's staff is professional, pleasant and most importantly will return calls promptly and answer all your questions a very hard thing to find in the orthopedic arena.
I could not be any more impressed with how everything was handled at Morton Plant Hospital yesterday for my hip replacement surgery. From start to finish everybody was extremely professional and most notably in very good moods. Dr. Kilgore is an unbelievably skilled surgeon. I seriously appreciate that they are at the forefront of technology with this procedure. My pain level literally never went above zero and I was walking with a walker very quickly after the procedure. I could not be more grateful that I came to this Hospital to have this procedure done. This was literally a life-changing event for me. Thank you very much Dr. Kilgore and staff.
